My son Will worked at Ricardo Farms during 2016, which was a huge year for us. I was injured at the time which required Will to take on more responsibility. He showed great management and team working skills, overseeing a number of backpackers. His role required long hours, which he handled well. Machinery maintenance, of mostly headers and tractors, was of a high standard. Will was heavily involved in planting, spraying and harvest. Will is currently studying at Marcus Oldham in Geelong, I think he has matured during his two years there; in his business and management sense and knowledge of the inner workings of farming enterprises. If he decides to pursue a future in farming, I would welcome him home.
