    Information

I was driving large machinery since March 2016. Ploughing, planting wheat, oats, chickpeas and sorghum, slashing, offset discing, prickle and kelly chaining, some spraying and chasing the headers for harvest. I have spent hundreds of hours on JD 8000-series with GreenStar GPS, but have also experience with Case Steiger 450 and Trimble GPS and a few smaller front end loader tractors. Currently I am working in the civil construction and private hire industry in Queensland, have tickets for excavator, skid steer, dozer, roller and compactor and also a high risk dogging licence. I can final trim with and without leveling bar on a skid steer and have some experience operating excavators from 3.5t to 25t, stick raking and clearing on a Cat D5 dozer, farm road fixing on an old JD grader and also experience on various forklifts. I have an open MC truck licence and am currently driving tippers and water trucks. I enjoy farm work a lot and I take care of other people's property. I am following orders without questioning. Long days and weeks are welcome for me. I also worked with cattle and as a general farm hand maintaining the equipment, fences and yards. I own a stock horse, tack and a float which I could use for mustering if needed. I also own a small earthmoving business which contains a bogie tipper, a 5.5t excavator, skid steer and attachements (augers / posthole borer, hydraulic grab / grapple, hydraulic rock breaker, 3 buckets, forklift, spreader bar). I can work on my own ABN and use my machines if needed. Final trim experience on tier 1 sites on skid steer. I have been in Australia since October 2015. I love the rural life and have applied for a permanent visa to stay in Australia. I am on a 820 visa (temporary partner visa) and waiting for my permanent residency and have no work restrictions. I am always very eager to learn more about all kinds of farming and animal husbandry.

'Sammy is a good worker, she initially had little experience but did the whole harvest and sorghum sowing with us. She operated front wheel assistance machines, chaser bins, 12m maxemerge planters as well as servicing of her machines each morning and has knowledge of Greenstar. She is honest & hard working, doing 18hr days over harvest with no complaints.. Her English is very good esp. over UHF, and I would certainly have her back again.'

I am an extremely hard worker who is keen to develop and master new skills and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I pride myself on the quality of my work and ensuring that the job gets done. I have various experience in many different agricultural fields. I have spent four years on a broad-acre cropping property in Riverina, NSW. Here I was involved in all aspects of production as well as some decision making and planning tasks. I also have previous experience in dairy farming and am currently employed on an intensive dairy operation where I have recently gained valuable skills in AI. I enjoy all aspects of agriculture however my main interests lie within livestock production, particularly sheep. I have previously had the opportunity to trade merino-cross lambs and am extremely keen to increase my skills and knowledge in this industry. I have a young family and am keen to find a position where I am able to increase my knowledge and skills and also take on a greater level of responsibility. I hold an MC NSW driver's licence and also own my own working dog who I have trained completely myself.

'I can’t speak highly enough of Josh, he is a good, honest, young bloke. He was always on time, nice, polite and an excellent young worker. Josh came to us after a break bricklaying and picked things up very quickly, he carried out all duties on the farm; fencing, cattle work and dairy duties. We are a family owned business, my wife, my son and I, Josh fitted into the team well, he understood our relationship well. I couldn’t recommend Josh more. '

    Information

My name is Lucas and I am a 26years old agronomist, specilized in vegetal production. My last job was to experiment on potato plants, in Britany, France. I used to drive a tractor (mowing, drilling, ripping, seeding etc.) to make the soil labours, plant the potatoes, make and follow the experimentation plans. I always have a global reflection on the cropping system I work on. I volunteered just before this work (1 year ago) in a dairy farm with 50 cows to help the owner before she sold her farm, in Brittany too. I am used to do the milking (2x4 cows in the milking parlour) with the good hygienic practices, and with care : each one of them has a name. Feed them with hay bale, cleaning and taking care of the litter, cleaning the milking parlour was part of my daily work too. I also worked in international countries, so I am used to adapt myself to different kinds of job, and I am really openminded and curious about everything. I am really ambitious and I wish to work with great employers who I can help a lot and share with them knowledges and more. I live with my partner, Eva, who is also really intersted about farming, she worked a lot in vineyard too, so she will be happy to settle down in the country side. She is more experienced in housekeeping and cooking wich can be also really usefull for you. Please take a moment to considerate my application, I am really passionate by agriculture and skilled, I need someone to give me my first opportunity to show what I can do !

'We have a small market garden & orchard. Lucas has been helping out about three weeks. He is a lovely young fella, really enjoy working with him, He is an ag grad – has done internships in different industries. His English is good, makes life easier. Forward thinker, picks up very quickly the routine of what we do. He stands out and knows what we are doing and how we are doing it – strong initiative. Really interested in what we do, we grow biologically and he is very passionate about that. Partner Eva. Here purely to work and make money. I am confident they would be keen to stick around for longer than their 88 days to work and learn a lot. Lovely young couple, I’m really keen to recommend them. Anything Organic & biodynamic would be perfect, conventional farming just as good. Something broad acre perhaps. No hesitation at all in recommending them.'

'Marko and Sirli worked for me at the end of 2018 for about 4 months, finished up end of January. They were stacking hay mostly; tractor and JCB operation. Both competent operators. Excellent on time and reliable. Really good work ethic, can’t fault them. They’re very keen, we actually had trouble keeping work up to them. Communication is excellent, speak very good English and understood instruction. Tell them what you wanted done and they would get it done no worries. No concerns in recommending them, they would fit in well wherever they went. '

He was punctual and courteous and had very good manners. He was trustworthy with the machinery and left things clean. He was easy to get along with. His English is exceptional. 'Adam was operating a harvester for us last season. We had about 3500 ha to harvest. He was a good employee. He looked after the gear really well. He is a good operator. He had prior experience so he just had to get used to our gear which was fine. He's really handy on the welder. He was a good communicator and if ever there was anything wrong he was straight on to it. '
