Description

We are looking for staff to assist with the sowing of winter crops as well as various other general farm work through April, May and June at Warren in Central west NSW. Experienced with large broad acre and or row crop equipment in essential. We run new model Case tractors, Trimble GPS with modern machinery. The work involves a mix of general farm and machinery maintenance, as well as operating various machinery. Accommodation is provided free in modern quarters where you will have to cook your own meals. A driver’s license is essential and own transport preferred. Hatton Partnership is a family owned farming operation just north of Warren in Central west NSW covering approximately 7,300 ha. We grow cotton under irrigation as well as dryland crops such as wheat, canola, barley and chick peas. We also have a small area of grazing that we run cattle on. We have up to seven staff depending on the time of year and strive to provide and enjoyable work experience for everyone involved. We operate new model case tractors with Trimble GPS and modern equipment. We provide free accommodation on farm in new fully equipped quarters. Currently we are looking for staff to assist in the planting of winter crops as well as prepare next year’s cotton area. Staff must be prepared to work in all areas of the farm and be aware that it is not just machinery operating. There is the potential for long term work for the right candidate but in the short term we want staff that can commit until June at least.
