Pier Pier Station, in Coonamble, NSW, is looking for a Jackeroo/Jilleroo to join their small team. The successful candidate will have experience in working with sheep and/or cattle. They will have good stock sense and be mechanically-minded. The successful candidate must be hard working and willing to work long hours at peak periods. Working dogs are also preferable. This is a great opportunity to work for Paraway Pastoral Company in a young team. Lots of opportunity for growth in the role for the right candidate. The work will be varied and provide opportunity for training and development. The Station Hand will be provided with their own accommodation on farm. Remuneration will be determined based on skills and experience (this will be a full time position with salary so please ignore hourly rate).

Pier Pier is a 31,603 hectare property owned by Paraway Pastoral Company. The property engages in a mix of enterprises; including sheep, trade cattle and cropping. Pier Pier Station runs a self-replacing Merino flock. When the season permits, Pier Pier trades cattle to be finished to feedlot entry weights on fodder cropping country. Pier Pier has approximately 5,100 hectares of arable cropping country used for producing predominantly cash crops as well as fodder crops for its livestock enterprises. The country varies from heavy black to light red sandy soils and ranges from open country to light timber.
