G’day Travellers My wife and I live on beautiful a cattle property in Central QLD (we are located 2 hours South West Of Rockhampton QLD) We are a family business that run 3 Cattle properties across 13,000 acres. We are looking for a skilled male to help us with all farm work. Mustering on 4x4 motorbikes and horses, fencing, repairs & maintenance, tractor work/farming, spraying woody weeds and trees and looking after 7 work dogs on days we are away. We need the successful applicant to start ASAP, no later than 1st February. Position would be available for one month with the option to extend afterwards if both parties wish to. Any work done would go towards your second year visa. Must have some practical hands on experience and common sense. We are looking for a reliable, honest, hardworking, enthusiastic, fun person to join our Station who are happy to lend their hand at anything. We would like them to be pro-active, can work independently and efficiently. Outline of the Job / what you need to bring: • Monday – Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm with 1.5hrs for lunch (you will need to look after your own breakfast, lunches & dinners). You will provide your own groceries. • We will provide the accommodation -you will have your own private cabin (A/C, bathroom, TV, hot plate/bbq & all fully furnished) • Own transport • Some work clothes – jeans, closed in shoes (boots or sneakers), hat, and long sleeved tops This is a PAID position and this can be discussed upon application.
